I was never much of a 'joiner' type person..the last thing I joined took 22 and a half years of my life to get out of..but I am joining the OUTDOORBLOGGER SUMMIT because I think not only is it a good idea, I am a believer in the mission statement:
The Outdoor Bloggers Summit will do the following:
# Support conservation efforts and positively portray the value of outdoor pursuits.
# Encourage and support the efforts of existing outdoor bloggers.
# Offer incentive and support for new bloggers who wish to blog about the outdoors.
# Unite the voices of bloggers so we can speak as one about critical issues that effect outdoor pursuits.
# Provide a clearinghouse for information about outdoor pursuits.
We who enjoy the outdoors are at a cross point in history. We either join together to keep our freedom to hunt and fish and enjoy our national and state parks or we fold like a diaper and let the left wing take away our guns and the PETA take away our fishing rights and the environmental nuts restrict us from the parks.
We who love the outdoors must let the public know that is because of our efforts during the past hundred year that there are now White Tail Deer in the forests and fish in the lakes and streams. Our hunting and fishing license fees have been going for conservation for decades and it is time that the public realized this.
