At least 45 people have been killed in a bus fire on a highway in the European country of Bulgaria.
According to Reuters, the bus had a North Macedonian number plate.
The injured include children while seven injured people have been rushed to the hospital.
Nikolai Nikolov, head of the fire safety department at the Bulgarian Interior Ministry, told state TV that the injured had been taken to a hospital in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia.
He confirmed that at least 45 people had been killed in the bus fire.
The fire broke out in the bus at 2 am local time.
Most of the victims were from northern Macedonia.
